Conference Poster Presentation Accepted!
I just received news that my proposal for a poster session titled "Moving Beyond Dichotomy: Research, Debate, and DiscussionBoards," was accepted by the Computers & Writing Online 2006 Conference. This conferencewill be held strictly on the internet February 6th – 28th; my session will be held on the 18th.
I was inspired to write the proposal after attending the technology workshop strand at this year's Annual NWP Meeting out in Pittsburgh. The content is based on my experiences trying to incorporate discussion group technology into the middle school language arts classroom. Just thought that I would share a bit of good news!
